Unlock Peak Performance with the CLOSE Method
Olympic-level strategies to develop agency, build resilience, and accelerate results!
Hi there! I’m thrilled to share with you the tools and exercises I’ve created to help you and your team reach your big goals! These tools are based on my personal experiences of navigating challenges and achieving success. At the bottom of this page, you will also find Case Studies on how leading companies are using these tools.
Success isn’t just about talent—it’s about building the right mindset, habits, and team culture. The CLOSE Method gives you a framework to go from where you are to where you want to be and excel in an ever-changing world.
Step 1: Clarity – Define Your Mission & Purpose
Step 2: Laser Focus – Turning Vision into Action
Step 3: Overcoming Obstacles – Building Resilience
Step 4: Shifting for Growth – Adapt & Evolve, Fast!
Step 5: Encoding the Mindset – Daily Practices for Success
Step 1. Clarity
Having a clear vision of what you want to achieve is essential but it’s not enough to succeed at the highest level. Knowing why this vision is important to you (and everyone on the team) is absolutely crucial to generate motivation.
With the following exercise, FINDING CLARITY THROUGH PURPOSE, team leaders can ensure that they bring everyone on board in the pursuit of goals and foster a strong sense of shared purpose within the team.
Step 2. Laser Focus
Laser Focus means aligning your intention with your attention: channeling your energy into what you can control, identifying and removing the barriers, and breaking goals into actionable steps to generate unstoppable momentum.
Does your goal seem really big and maybe even, out of reach? It could be overwhelming to get started or complete your vision, especially if you’re facing deadlines. This tool helps you to zero-in on making progress and accelerate results!
Step 3. Overcoming Obstacles
Leaning into obstacles reveals gaps in our skills, mindset, or strategy. It shows us where we need to stretch beyond what we thought was possible. Whether it’s the resilience to keep showing up, the courage to face rejection, or the humility to start over, obstacles are opportunities to build the very capacities we need to achieve our goals.
Here are two tools:

Step 4. Shifting for Growth
The fourth step in the CLOSE method is Shifting for Growth, which focuses on how we respond to challenges and opportunities for change. Growth often requires adjusting our approach, mindset, or strategy. There are three main ways to respond:
Diversify: Increase the value that you offer by learning new skills, improving your offering, or stepping up in other ways to deliver value.
Pivot: Change direction when your current path no longer aligns with your values. Pivoting is about evolving, not giving up.
Let Go: Recognize when it’s time to release what no longer serves you. This can be difficult, but letting go opens up space for new growth.
Step 5. Encoding the Mindset
Now we arrive at the final step of this process: How do we encode a resilient mindset into everything we do? It's not enough to know what to do — we need tools and practices to internalize this mindset so that it becomes part of our daily life.
To truly encode a resilient mindset into everything you do, it's essential to blend both mindset and practical tools. Explore both sets of exercises:
